China's Public Security Ministry stated that it had turned over a serious violent offender wanted by U.S. law enforcement authorities, signaling potential closer law enforcement ties despite broader geopolitical differences. Meanwhile, Chinese memory firm CXMT is exploring an alternative strategy to bypass U.S. sanctions on High Bandwidth Memory (HBM). According to WCCFtech, rather than adhere to restrictions, CXMT might focus on developing custom DRAM solutions. By investing heavily in 3D memory and 3D Integrated Circuits, the company could carve out a new path for growth, potentially challenging leading South Korean manufacturers like Samsung and SK Hynix.
