Another major B.C. highway has been closed due to wildfires, affecting Highway 97 near Clinton. From Clinton Cemetery Road to Mound Road, approximately 8.9 kilometers of the highway is now shut in both directions following an evacuation by BC Wildfire crews. Drivers are directed via an alternative route as safety measures continue in the face of ongoing wildfire activity.
