The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) praised the pact as a “pillar of security,” highlighting its potential to enhance collective defense capabilities among Muslim-majority countries. However, analysts note that the agreement could raise concerns among NATO allies about Turkey’s growing strategic autonomy. Despite this, Turkey maintains that the pact does not interfere with its NATO obligations.
