Customers Prefer Transparency on Free Services, 88% Value Aftercare in Contractor Selection
A recent survey conducted by NEXER Group highlights key customer preferences in the exterior painting industry. According to the findings, 90% of respondents expressed a desire to know in advance the scope of free services offered by contractors. This indicates a growing demand for transparency in service agreements. Additionally, 88% of participants stated that the availability of after-sales support significantly influences their choice of contractor. These results underscore the importance of clear communication and reliable post-service support in building customer trust.
The survey also revealed that customers are increasingly prioritizing companies that provide detailed information about their service offerings. This trend suggests that businesses in the construction and maintenance sector must adapt by improving their communication strategies. NEXER Group’s research emphasizes the need for contractors to be proactive in explaining the boundaries of free services and the support available beyond the initial project.
Such insights could help companies refine their service packages and marketing approaches to better meet consumer expectations. The study reflects a broader shift in customer behavior, where informed decision-making and long-term support are becoming essential factors in service selection.
