Daniel, a well-known Malaysian stand-up comedian, shared his personal connection to comedy, stating, “COMEDY found me,” during a recent interview. The festival aims to showcase a diverse range of comedic talent across multiple languages, reflecting Malaysia’s multicultural society.
The event is set to take place in Kuala Lumpur, drawing both local and international audiences. Organizers hope the festival will provide a platform for emerging and established comedians to share their work. The inaugural edition marks a significant step in the growth of Malaysia’s comedy scene.
