A video shared by Congress general secretary K.C. Venugopal allegedly shows individuals being sent to participate in the demonstrations. Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi, a senior Congress leader, condemned the use of force against students, urging the state government to engage in dialogue to resolve the issues.
Authorities responded with force, deploying water cannons, tear gas, and lathi charges against protesters. The BJP has called for a statewide bandh (strike) on August 11, citing the police action against students. The situation remains tense as the state government faces pressure to address the concerns of job aspirants and restore public trust in the recruitment process.
