Rawalpindi’s Super Gola Falooda, a family-run ice cream shop, continues to draw regular customers despite the rise of premium ice cream brands, according to local reports. The shop, located in Banni Chowk, has been a staple for generations, offering traditional treats like khoya falooda and colorful ice golas.

Syed Hamza, a 28-year-old regular, visits the shop three to four times a week, carrying home frozen treats for his family. He described the habit as routine, highlighting the enduring appeal of the shop’s offerings. The business, now in its 25th year, remains a local favorite, competing with modern ice cream chains.

The shop’s owner, who declined comment, has maintained the traditional methods of preparation, ensuring the quality and authenticity of the products. While the ice cream market in Pakistan has seen a surge in international brands, the legacy of local ice gola remains strong among loyal customers. (arabnews.pk)
