Perodua has announced a RM10,000 cash rebate for its QV-E electric vehicle, effective from Malaysia Day. The rebate brings the price of the Quest for Visionary Electric Vehicle down to RM53,499 under the battery-as-a-service model. The full purchase price remains at RM77,499.
The offer is part of Perodua’s efforts to promote electric vehicle adoption in Malaysia. The QV-E is one of the company’s flagship electric models, designed for urban driving and daily use. The rebate is available for a limited time, encouraging potential buyers to consider the vehicle.
The price reduction aims to make electric vehicles more accessible to a wider audience. Perodua has been actively expanding its electric vehicle lineup in response to growing demand and government incentives. The QV-E is expected to compete with other electric models in the local market.
The rebate reflects the government’s push for sustainable transportation. Malaysia has set targets for increasing the share of electric vehicles in its transportation sector. Perodua’s move aligns with these national goals.
