Typhoon Obet has left the Philippine area of responsibility, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration. The storm was last detected 1,310 kilometers east-northeast of Extreme Northern Luzon.
Pagasa reported that Obet exited the PAR around 9:30 p.M. On Monday. The typhoon was moving toward the open sea with maximum wind speeds of 155 kilometers per hour. No immediate threat to the Philippines is expected.
The storm had previously affected parts of the country with heavy rain and strong winds. Officials are monitoring its path for any potential impact on nearby regions.
