In Nepal, the government has deployed an unprecedented number of emergency personnel, with over 21,465 security forces actively involved in search and rescue efforts. These teams have managed to rescue and evacuate 13,104 people so far. Meanwhile, in the Chinese region of Tibet, authorities report 43 fatalities, with 519 individuals still unaccounted for.
The situation remains critical, with officials warning that the risk of secondary disasters, such as further landslides or glacier collapses, remains high.
