The Pan Africanist Congress (PAC) has officially announced Thami Ka Plaatjie as its candidate for Johannesburg mayor. Ka Plaatjie, a former member of the African National Congress (ANC), is set to run under the PAC banner in the upcoming local elections. This marks his return to the PAC after being expelled in 2003. The PAC also revealed its candidates for Ekurhuleni, Emfuleni, and Sedibeng. The announcement was made by the PAC, highlighting Ka Plaatjie’s reintegration into the party. (mg.co.za)
