Casio has launched two new G-Shock watches featuring magnetic hour and minute hands that shift under impact instead of breaking. The GMC-2500D-1AJF and GMC-2500D-1A2JF models are priced at ¥49,500 each and are designed for durability. These watches do not include solar charging or Bluetooth connectivity, unlike some other models in Casio’s G-Shock lineup.

The new models are part of Casio’s ongoing efforts to enhance the resilience of its G-Shock line. The magnetic hand mount technology is intended to reduce the risk of damage from shocks or impacts, a common concern for rugged watches. While the features are similar to those of the GMC-B2100 series, the new models lack the solar and Bluetooth capabilities found in that line.

Separately, a white G-Shock GA-2100 model, described as a “Channel One” version, was spotted at the Notting Hill Carnival. The watch was shared by a user on social media, though Casio has not officially confirmed its release. This unannounced appearance highlights the brand’s growing presence in pop culture and event-based marketing.

Casio continues to expand its G-Shock range with both technical innovations and limited-edition designs, appealing to a broad audience of watch enthusiasts.
