Seiko has announced the addition of four new models to its Prospex Speedtimer collection, set to launch in September 2026. The new watches include both mechanical and solar-powered options, expanding the brand’s range of chronographs. Two of the models, the HBD001 and HBD002, feature automatic mechanical movements with a 42 mm case and the 8R48 caliber. These models are designed for precision and durability, typical of the Prospex line.
The other two models, the HBC003 and HBC004, are smaller in size and use the 6R55 automatic movement, offering a 72-hour power reserve. These models are likely aimed at collectors and enthusiasts who prefer a more compact design. Meanwhile, the solar-powered HBJ-series, including the HBJ001 through HBJ004, continue to use the V192 caliber, though pricing details remain undisclosed.
The new additions reflect Seiko’s ongoing commitment to innovation and tradition in watchmaking.
