Osun State leaders have called for peaceful and credible elections, as the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) ramps up efforts to ensure electoral stability. Tosin Odeyemi, chairman of IPAC and chieftain of the Democratic Leadership Alliance, addressed voters and security agencies ahead of the upcoming polls.

Odeyemi emphasized the importance of unity and adherence to the rule of law during the electoral process. He urged all stakeholders to prioritize dialogue and cooperation to prevent any incidents that could disrupt the election. Security agencies have been deployed to monitor key areas and maintain order.

The call for peaceful elections comes amid heightened political activity in the state. Various political parties are preparing for the polls, with increased campaign efforts across constituencies. IPAC has also tasked local leaders with educating voters on their rights and responsibilities.

The upcoming elections are seen as a critical moment for the state’s political landscape. All parties are expected to follow the guidelines set by IPAC to ensure a fair and transparent process.
