Pakistani fintech startup ABHI has deepened its presence in Saudi Arabia by partnering with local firm NOX Group to offer employees early access to their wages. The collaboration, announced on Thursday, allows workers to receive a portion of their salary before the regular payday, a service ABHI has previously rolled out in Pakistan and other markets.
The deal marks ABHI’s continued expansion across the Gulf region, with the company’s global headquarters based in Abu Dhabi. Founded in 2021, ABHI specializes in earned wage access, payroll solutions, and embedded financial services. This partnership with NOX Group underscores the growing interest of Pakistani tech firms in the Saudi market, where digital financial services are rapidly evolving.
The move comes as ABHI seeks to strengthen its operations in the Gulf, leveraging the region’s increasing demand for flexible financial tools. While the partnership focuses on employee wage access, it also highlights the broader trend of cross-border collaboration between Gulf and South Asian tech companies.
The agreement reflects ABHI’s strategy to diversify its business beyond its home market, positioning itself as a key player in the region’s financial technology landscape.
