The Palace, through its press officer Claire Castro, emphasized that posting content that reveals students’ identities breaches DepEd’s ethical guidelines. Teachers are advised to exercise caution when using social media to ensure the safety and privacy of their pupils.
The warning follows reports of educators sharing images or details that could expose students’ personal information. While no specific incidents were cited, the message underscores the growing concern over digital privacy in educational settings.
