Lenovo has launched a new 16-inch ThinkPad model in the US, featuring advanced specifications. The ThinkPad T1g Gen 9 is powered by Intel Panther Lake processors and includes vPro support. It also offers up to 64GB of LPCAMM2 RAM and an optional Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 12GB GPU. The starting price for the model with an RTX 5060 GPU and 64GB RAM is $4,109.
The new ThinkPad is positioned as an upgrade from the previous Arrow Lake-powered Gen 8 model. It targets professionals requiring high-performance computing capabilities. The laptop is available for purchase in the US, marking Lenovo’s continued expansion of its ThinkPad lineup.
Lenovo also announced a 15% discount on select products during August 2026, including ThinkPads, Yoga laptops, and Legion gaming PCs. This promotion aims to provide customers with cost-saving opportunities on their next tech upgrade.
