Nintendo has shared the first teaser for a live-action *The Legend of Zelda* movie, confirming the title card and a release date of April 30, 2027. The short preview, released by Nintendo and Columbia Pictures, features no actual footage, disappointing fans who expected a full trailer. Instead, the company directed viewers to its Nintendo Today app for future updates. The teaser highlights an original story inspired by the franchise’s 40-year history.

Meanwhile, Nintendo is also launching a *Zelda*-themed Switch 2 with colorful green Joy-Con and Triforce designs. A special Pro Controller and carrying case will be available alongside the console. The new hardware will arrive on October 29, a week before the November 5 launch of the *Ocarina of Time* remake. The Zelda-themed Switch 2 is expected to appeal to both longtime fans and new players.
