Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced the pricing for its upcoming Initial Public Offering (IPO), setting the share price at N525 per unit. The minimum subscription required for investors is 10 shares, totaling N5,250. This marks a significant step in the company’s journey toward public ownership, allowing Nigerian citizens to participate in one of Africa’s largest industrial projects.
The IPO, expected to launch in September, will enable investors to acquire shares in the refinery and petrochemicals division of the Dangote Group. The move comes after the company reported a record revenue of N19.13 trillion in the first half of the year, highlighting its financial strength and growth potential.
With the IPO open to all Nigerians, the company aims to broaden its shareholder base and increase transparency in its operations. The initiative reflects broader efforts to diversify the Nigerian economy and promote private sector participation in key industries.
The IPO is anticipated to be a landmark event for the African financial market, showcasing the potential for large-scale industrial ventures to go public and attract both domestic and international investment.
