Palestinian students from Gaza have completed their interrupted studies in Pakistan, graduating from The University of Lahore’s dental college. Mustafa Abushaban, one of the 51 graduates, arrived in Pakistan two years ago, separated from his family for the second time. The graduates, affiliated with Al-Azhar University in Gaza, completed their studies despite the ongoing conflict in their homeland. The University of Lahore provided a safe environment for them to continue their education during the war.
Pakistan has also welcomed recent peace progress in Gaza, with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressing support for a Palestinian state and urging full implementation of the agreement. The country’s stance reflects its long-standing solidarity with the Palestinian cause.
