The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has transferred properties recovered from a fake spiritualist to the victim in Ibadan, Oyo State. This action follows a year-long effort by the commission to secure convictions and recover assets linked to financial crimes.

Ola Olukoyede, the EFCC Executive Chairman, emphasized that no recovered asset will be mismanaged under his leadership. The transfer marks a significant step in the commission’s commitment to accountability and justice.

The case involved the recovery of properties from a fraudulent spiritualist, who had exploited victims through false promises. The EFCC’s intervention has restored some sense of justice for the affected individuals.

The move aligns with the commission’s broader strategy to ensure transparency in asset management and protect the rights of victims. It also highlights the ongoing efforts to combat financial crimes in Nigeria.
